Scala.meta has delivered on its promise to become a foundation for next-generation tooling in Scala. Recently released v1.0 is capable of capturing Scala code exactly as it is written - with all the original formatting and attention to minor syntactic details - opening unique possibilities for tool authors. Codacy’s Scala engine and Scalafmt are already taking full advantage of scala.meta’s features, and we expect more tools to follow.
